Workshop – Participatory Evaluation

LARC is developing a programme to support arts-led regeneration in North Liverpool. As part of this work, LARC has commissioned an independent evaluation team led by François Matarasso to support the process by working with arts and community organisations in the area.

The aim is to build people’s skills and confidence in evaluation and help organisations report effectively on their work.

The evaluation programme will begin with a full day workshop on Tuesday 14 July, 9.30am – 4.00pm at the League of Welldoers (Limekiln Lane, Vauxhall).

The workshop will introduce the approach to evaluation that will be used and explore some of the key issues and concepts. The sessions will be varied and interactive, but no previous experience of evaluation is necessary.

If you are involved in community-based arts work in North Liverpool and want to know more about evaluation, this workshop is for you. There is no charge and you don’t have to commit to further involvement in the programme.

There will be more workshops and support on offer over the next 18 months, but you can decide later whether to take part in those.
